According to Sweden's "Industry Today" report on March 12, due to high electricity prices and tax incentives for the solar industry, more and more Swedish households choose to install solar power generation devices. A total of 50,000 newly installed solar cells will be incorporated in 2022. Power grid, household consumption of solar cells amounted to SEK 6.6 billion, a year-on-year increase of 103%.

Anna Werner, chief executive of Swedish Solar, the Swedish solar energy industry association, said that the surge in the number of solar cells challenged the capacity of the grid, and some households were forced to wait months to connect to the grid.

Governments must act to expand grid capacity to meet growing demand for solar electricity.
